This pulls out into a double bed.  It uses a single matress and so there is no seem to contend with.   The duvet and pillows can be kept on the shelf above.
The banquette seating means you can get everyone round the table.
There is a second sofa bed.  This also pulls out into a double (but there is not enough space to pull both sofa beds out).   It is the second choice option if you prefer a very soft mattress.
The compact kitchen is equipped with everything to self cater.  The oven is a microwave oven only.  There is a slow cooker which is perfect for skiing.  Put a joint on to cook before skiing and it will be ready on return.   There is kettle, tea pot, coffee machine (no filters required - just add cold water and coffee), toaster and a rice cooker.

You can ski down to about 30 metres from the front door.
All the apartments in Olympie have entrance doors at the back of the building.
Apartment 7 is in the bottom right side of the photo.   La Brizolee below is a popular family restaurant.
The kindergarten is directly opposite.  Les Petits Loops will get your under 5 on skis and has its own mini carpet.   You can also see the entrance to the cross country ski route that will take you up round the beautiful Lac Tueda.
It is 150 metres from the front door of Olympie to the main Plattieres lift.

The apartment has its own telephone line and its own Wifi router providing free broadband internet for the apartment.  The television has a "Youview" box which has several "apps" including Netflix.  

This apartment sleeps up to five people.  There are two double sofa bed in the living room for either one couple or two singles.  There is a triple bunk bed off the hall.  The two sleeping areas are separated by a door.  See the floorpan above.    Each bunk of has one or two shelves directly next to the bunks.  There is a window next to the triple bunks.  The bunks are great for children (although the top bunk is quite high for younger children).  The bunks can accommodate adults but three would be a squash.

This is fully equipped for self-catering use.  Fridge, ceramic hob, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, non-stick saucepans, kettle and all the basic crockery for a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a slow cooker (great for putting on a joint in the morning ready for eating after skiing). There is also a rice cooker for perfectly and easily cooked rice.

The bathroom has a bath with a shower in the bath.  The shower has a full height attachment so you can stand in the shower.   The hot water is on a circulating pumped system which means hot water at excellent pressure appears within a couple of seconds.    

There is a storage cupboard in the hall which can be used to store suitcases.  There are shelves by the front door for ski boots.  There is a ski box in the basement for skis.

It is exactly 150 metres to the main Plattieres lift.   You can ski in and ski out from the chalet.
It is 50 metres to the supermarket. There are 6 restaurants/bars and 3 ski shops giving the area a charming atmosphere. The bus stop for the free bus to Meribel is also right by the apartments. There is plenty of free parking by the supermarket.  It is not possible to park directly outside the chalet as this is a pedestrian only area but one can off load by the supermarket and then it is only about 30-50 metres to the apartment.

Terms and Conditions

Payment method
We take payment by credit card through Paypal which provides you with Paypal's buyer protection.  We add a 3.5% charge for this service.  For new clients we reduce this charge to 2%.   Otherwise we can take payment by bank transfer.  Once we have received your booking form we will send you a payment request.

The price is for the rental of the apartment.  It includes local taxes but it excludes end of stay cleaning and sheets and towels.

Sheets and towels
The apartments are equipped with pillows and duvets with additional blankets.  Sheets and towels can be hired for the week at £14 per person  (Includes a Bathmat and two tea towels - delivered to the apartment). Please note that if you will require sheets and towels then this can be arranged nearer the time.

Cleaning is not included in the above price. Cleaning products and materials are provided in the apartment. Apartments have to been cleaned at the end of your holiday and must be left ready for the next occupants. Alternatively cleaning can be ordered in advance at an additional cost. (£25 studio apartments £35 one bedroom apartments)

Arrival and departure times
Bookings run from 4pm on Saturday through until 11am on the following Saturday. There is some flexibility on this particularly if the apartment is vacated early but please email to ask.

Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £150/€180 is payable with the final payment. [The security deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your holiday, provided the apartment is left clean and tidy, that sheets have been used on the beds and upon safe return of the keys.]

Please note that in the event of damage to the apartment the deposit may be withheld and also your liability for damage is not limited to £150/€180.

Pets / smoking
The apartments are not suitable for pets and hence pets are not allowed. Likewise we ask that any smokers only smoke on the balconies of the apartments and not in the apartment. If an apartment smells of smoke at the end of the week then the security deposit will be withheld.

Cancellation (your part)
If you need to cancel your holiday then I will endeavour to re-let the apartment as soon as I have emailed confirmation of the cancellation. If the apartment is successfully let then amounts paid will be returned to you except for the initial deposit of £100 and less further costs of sale. If you have booked more than one apartment then £100 will be retained per apartment per week for cancellations and can not be offset against other bookings.

Cancellation (our part)
If, for reasons beyond our control (that is Force Majeure such as fire or flood), we are unable to let the apartment to you, then we will return any and all amounts paid for the rental of the apartment. We will inform you as soon as any situation arises. In addition we will endeavour to help you find alternative accommodation. However we do not accept liability for any travel costs or other costs incurred beyond the original rental amount.

It is a requirement of the booking that adequate ski holiday insurance must be taken out at the time of booking. Please check your policy covers you in the event you have to cancel the holiday. As the apartments are let out on a regular basis to clients we cannot guarantee the security of the apartments or the ski lockers and the best thing is to obtain adequate holiday insurance.
